Almost there, Jim thought, staring at the camera crew on the boat next to his. On shore, the man who had been sailing with him since the last stop was handing a flaming torch to a woman. A bit of an extravagant way to pass the Olympic torch, but it’s on an island so why not?
The woman jogged up the gangplank onto Jim’s boat, carrying the torch in one hand. She stopped at the bow, staring ahead as Jim pulled out of the port. Let the games begin.
