30 days of flash fiction
If you're a writer, then you know that National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) started on November 1 and you're probably busy writing. For those who don't know what this is, NaNoWriMo is an annual challenge where authors try to write a 50,000-word manuscript in November. Last November, I worked on Otherworld book 4 during NaNoWriMo. While I didn't write anywhere near 50,000 words that month, I did make huge progress on the manuscript. That manuscript has since been finished.
Now NaNoWriMo is here again. My current high-priority works-in-progress are not at the writing stage, so I won't be shooting for 50,000 words in a month. Instead, I'm doing a 30 days of flash fiction challenge. I've gathered thirty writing prompts and am doing one each day. Some I'll release here, some I won't, but I'll keep you updated on my progress! On the main writing page, there is a progress bar where you can follow my progress. I'll also post periodic updates on my Facebook page, which is linked in the header above.
Here you can find the writing prompts, the flash story if I've released it, or the reason why it was not released. Some of the unreleased stories will be released later.
